This summer, Dame Maureen Lipman returns to the West End in Allegra, a warm and uplifting new comedy filled with humour, music and heart.

Allegra sees the world differently. For her, music is everywhere — transforming ordinary moments into colourful, emotional and often unpredictable experiences. While her brother Ronen and carer Anna try to keep life stable and grounded, Allegra’s joyful imagination begins to affect everyone around her in unexpected ways.

Blending comedy with touching emotional moments, Allegra explores family, care, imagination and the power of joy. Written by acclaimed playwright Peter Quilter and directed by Olivier Award winner Stephen Mear, the production brings together a talented cast led by Maureen Lipman in the title role.

Currently touring the UK ahead of its West End transfer, Allegra promises a feel-good theatre experience filled with warmth, laughter and music.
