Travel Time and Space through Art
From Ancient Greece to the Byzantine Empire, Bode Museum is a journey through time and space through art. Skip the line and get right into wonderful artworks from the past.
Here you'll experience waves of art from around the world. The museum's collections draw from several historical eras - from the end of the Roman Empire right up until the 19th century.
Art movements covered include the Christian Orient, Byzantium, Ravenna, Italian Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque eras, among others. Soak up masterpieces from a broad range of times and locations.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Bode Museum also houses the Münzkabinett (Coin Cabinet) with an incredible 500,000 items - including pieces from Ancient Greece, Rome, the Middle East, and the Orient.
You can also admire the famous Flora bust, which possibly is created by Leonardo da Vinci (though more likely made by 19th century lesser light Richard Cockle Lucas).
